Candidates who appear qualified on the basis of their resumes are contacted and interviewed to determine availability and interest in placement, and confirm resume information.
Depending on the client’s preference, references may be checked before the candidate's resume is submitted for client review; candidates are required to furnish three professional references. Reference checking usually occurs during the certification process.
Reference checking involves thorough inquiry regarding prior professional history including verification of employment and dates, confirmation of skill set, evaluation of performance, and assessment of appropriateness and ability to perform in the proposed client setting. Whenever possible, Visiontech Technologies will identify and pursue additional sources of candidate references to ensure that an unbiased reference is obtained.
If the candidate is local to a Visiontech Technologies office, a personal interview is scheduled and conducted by knowledgeable professionals who evaluate the suitability of the candidate. As a general rule, the candidate is brought back in to obtain more detail and verify or clarify information resulting from initial interview.
Visiontech Technologies carefully advises all candidates in detail of the job requirements, performance expectations, project longevity, and the client’s corporate culture to enable the candidate to make an informed decision of any employment offer that may ensue. Once all screening has been satisfactorily completed, the candidate’s resume is formally presented to the client for review.
